Frequently Asked Questions

The First session:

The purpose of the initial meeting is to assess whether counselling is appropriate to your needs and allows us to discuss the issue that made you seek support. This meeting also gives us the opportunity to consider whether we would like to work with one another.

How many sessions do I need?

Depending on the outcome of the initial meeting, I offer crisis counselling which can last for a few weeks, short-term counselling which lasts between two to six months and longer term work. The number of sessions needed is mutually agreed.

Fees:

Please call me to discuss fees.
I am able to offer some reduced rates for those on low income e.g. the unemployed or those in receipt of state benefits.

Please contact me on 07960 364555
